He can 'overstep the mark', but not to the extent that I would write in and complain. Lifes too short!
I've been watching Top Gear and Jeremy Clarkson since I was a kid, and he hasn't changed at all. I have no idea who these people are who are complaining, but unless they have been living under a rock for the last decade they know to expect this from Mr. Clarkson.
The whole issue only serves to publicise the show, which is still the highest rated programme on BBC Two by a long way, and has a global audience of Hundreds of Millions. (Not sure of current figures but it was 350m in 2009)
Agree with the comments above! I wasn't offended by the India special, but I do feel Top Gear is slowly swinging too far to the 'idiotic' side of things. I think 2006/2007 were it's peak years. Still a good show though!
Some of the news about the new series on Wikipedia make it sound like we have a very good series ahead though.
