Agreed, the endurance race was another brilliant TG moment. But I felt this one really warranted an entire show dedicated to it like the American road trip.

It was quite a momentous thing for the 4 of them to work as a team like that, and there was far too much material to cram in to 35 minutes. The usual humour and artistic moments had to be sacrificed so they could jump to the next incident that happened. Hence it ended up more as a factual chronology of events rather than the creative epic it could have been.

The other items on the show like Keith Allen in a reasonably priced car and Clarkson's road test at the end (not really one of his best) didn't seem good enough to justify squeezing the main feature down.

I agree. I thought the episode was devoted to the 24 hour race.

would have been interesting to know how the fog affected the timing of the race for example.

also how will there destroy this epsoide on DAVE?

Oh the usual crap editing and feeding it at such a low bitrate it looks like it was done with really bad filmic techniques

Reboot
I think the BBC3 Saturday repeats are a week or two behind BBC2 (not including the Sunday to Saturday gap).

The repeat on BBC 3 has been 13 days behind BBC 2 since the start of the series, but since BBC 2 are having a week off this week, they will catch up next week.

It gets repeated on BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three and Dave - all within a few weeks of its original broadcast.

And, if I'm right, a specially edited version goes out on BBC America, BBC Canada, BBC Prime, BBC World and BBC Entertainment.

Apparently he's not the original Stig. The original one (who's name escapes me) revealed that it was he who was the Stig & promptly got sacked.

The original stig was the black stig, whereas the new one is white. The old black stig, according to the show, was killed wen he drove off a boat. There should be a video on YouTube of it

They've had 2 weeks off during this series though!

Dave was repeating them about 3 weeks after BBC2, dunno what they've done to not catch up

I know one week they showed the Polar special instead of one of the new series. Don't know about the other week

Nope, the Polar Special was aired as a standalone episode in July. Series 10 began in October and AFAIK has been interrupted twice (by the the snooker on both occasions).
