Show brilliant as usual, but seeing as though this forum is about 'pres' was it just me who thought that the report that James May did which was shot at night was incredibly grainy? I've just moved from a 25 inch CRT to a 42 inch LCD with Sky HD so thats probably why things look more grainy than usual, but that bit seemed to be just that bit more grainy than it should have been.

Plus are Top Gears titles the only BBC programme titles without the BBC logo on them? Also i don't really like the new way they link the titles to the studio bits, it doesn't really work, especially not this weeks which panned away before the name of the programme even came up.

Moan over, best programme on tv though Laughing

I think the BBC is not shown on Top Gear beacuse of the input from Veronica here in NL! Top Gear is one of its top rated shows - even the magazine has its own Dutch version!!!!!!! The beginning sequence is clean, as the BBC's but, as usual with Dutch TV (non NED) no end sequence - just a side card with presenters names and the BBC copyright.

Must admit love watching new episodes on BBC2 and classic (6 months or even older) on Veronica - although with this series I do know that they will only be 3 episodes behind (this series starts on Veronica this Friday!!!)

I just wish on Dave there cut the ads back to 9min slot in stead of 12 mins thus there could cut it better! 6 - 9 mins for the news? sorted!

also Maybe there should make those 1 hour show a 1/12 hour specials!!!

What's the point of an extra 5 minutes?

Just checking - this had credits on Sunday, right? I didn't get to see it then, and BBC2 [Scotland] just dumped straight from Clarkson's "good night" to the endboard on the repeat.

Yes it did. BBC Two Scotland hacked off both the opening sequence and the credits to cram it into the gap between It Takes Two and Watchdog, both of which are live. Trying to fit a quart into a 39-and-a-half-fluid-ounce pot, there.

NTA Award winners for second year running. Clarkson looked rather unenthused by it.

Although that all changed when he won the special award thingy. Although upstaged by Lewis Hamilton who presented it to him.

Good to see Top Gear still managing to have fun with their credits. Tonight everyone was 'Archbishop desmond [insert name]'.

Top Gear tonight was even funnier if you'd watched the end of Bremner Bird and Fortune immediately before switching over for it.

It was the one case where it didn't need to be readable, you could see the first few and the last few - the ones during the squeze were no diffrent... just as useless!
