It's interesting news, though it totally screws up the idea of this new channel number system keeping all channels together. It will move Toonami up the EPG, yet will surely mean that Cartoon Network +1 will also have to move, unless Cartoon Network moves to EPG position 600, but that doesn't seem to be what Sky are saying in the numbers released. And even if it does, Boomerang +1 is going to launch on 621, it's so confusing!

Well, like the revamp of the Freeview EPG Sky aren't doing anything spectacular.
All they are doing is clearing out the spaces and moving channels up, rather than "futureproofing" - which means if channels don't have the slots already, any new channels will be added at the end of their section on the EPG.

So... almost, but not quite, going back to the format of CNX. Except staying in the kids section, so obivously not being as edgy and teen/adult as it's predecessor.
