Too Many Connections!!!!!

Guys I know this isn't TV related as such but how annoying is it that if there are more than 30 users online this site can't cope - grrrrr if I get the 'Too Many Connections' page again the laptop is going through the window.

Most users ever online was 294 on 7th Feb 2005 apparently - what went wrong?

Is there a server problem? bandwith or just Bank Holiday Gremlins - it seems to be getting worse and I haven't got the patience to wait a moment!

Ive been trying for about 10 minutes to get onto the homepage, its getting very annoying. Whats the problem ?

On the old message it said something about TVF getting new software installed or something but now it says too many connections.

I believe TVF is on the same server as some other websites, and they all share the resources. Something I notice is it doesn't happen much during the week, but happens regularly on Saturday. I've always wondered why- does one of the sites on the server come alive on Saturday, and die for the rest of the week or something?

Maybe it's a football results service or something like that.
