I saw it too! Well done to Tony. Off the topic slightly on that same news bulletin they didnt use the drop down shot at the beginning and end, they used a sideshot with the presenter and the wide screen they use for weather, live reports etc.

At least the BBC seem to be bothering to cover this story about the camper-van on the M4 - I haven't seen anything about it on Sky at all so far.

Must be a bit boring standing there for hours on end though - what time was their first OB?

Tony Morris is on attachment as a News Correspondent from Manchester.
As to the M4 story - that's the benefit the BBC has of having newsteams across the country. The reporter and truck will probably have been sent from Bristol ... SKY would either have to buy in a sat truck or send from London ... they may have a reporter in the West Country but I would imagine they'd send from London.
ITN can use pictures from HTV if needed.

Isn't he the one who was doing a live for the Six in the summer which had to be abandoned because he was being pushed around by fans. I recall Huw Edwards saying something like let's hope Tony makes it back in one piece or something to that effect.
