No, at the time they revealed the prizes in the recording it was possible to win any one of the 9. At the time of the transmission it was known which of the 3 were up for grabs, but then as long as the winners weren't fixed (i.e. they made sure that contestant X was given the holiday) then there's no problem

So when Ant 'n' Dec launched the competition and said you could win £8000, a trip to New York, £1000 in the bank, a sofa, a CD player, a suitcase, hair gel, a newspaper or a bag of crisps. they were lying as it wasn't possible to win all of those prizes? It was only possible to win a sofa, hair gel or a trip to New York. Three prizes that had already been predetermined at the time the competition was started.

If my memory serves me right, on November 1st last year ITV1 started giving UTV, Scottish, ect. a clean feed instead of one full of ITV graphics. I guess the names were broadcast using the same computer that does all the other graphics. In this case, it would only have been added to the London Feed and not the Network Feed which UTV and the rest rely on. Obviously accidental, they probably no longer have a graphics computer hooked to the Network Feed, only the London Feed used by the regions now known as ITV1.
HA
I knew it was caused by the strike, but I cant remember what Dec's explination was.

The graphic was added to the Network feed taken by everyone except STV & UTV. STV & UTV take a clean feed prior to the DSK/mixer, which meant they missed out on the competition names. Bummer - one of the contestants was from County Durham!

Am I having a senile Sunday morning here?
What's County Durham got to do with the price of fish?

On the subject of Grab the Ads, amongst the prizes on the end game was a clock radio... Does anyone know of a current ad that goes out for a clock radio????

Not seen one specifically, Greg, but there must be one in the Argos commercial, surely!
