Does anyone think anyone could try a Doctor Who-type revival?[Not so it's copying it I just mean they should redo it]

ITV1 probably couldn't do it now with the Childrens Production Unit closed down but someone could do a version that's not just a kids-with-powers show. The theme tune would be a remix of the 70s theme like the original Eliminator theme that's dramatic. The programme should make use of the old MPAA actors and i think a couple of them would make good Tomorrow People. The UP2U presenters would be good aswell.

There was infact a modern remake of the Tomorrow People on CITV back in 1993. Don't remember much about it
though, except that (correct me if I'm wrong) it starred sometime who'd quit Neighbours a few months before.

That was Kristian Schmid, according to TV.com: http://www.tv.com/the-tomorrow-people-1992/show/10954/summary.html

It was pretty good as I seem to remember it...

In fact it would be a good programme to partner Doctor Who.

I can just image the Saturday family drama line-up with new version of past popular cult series'

Autumn New version of Robin Hood (12 episodes)
Winter New version of The Tomorrow People (6 episodes)
Winter/Spring New version of Doctor Who (series 3....) (13 episodes)
Spring/Summer New version of Blake's 7 (12 episdoes)
Summer/Autumn Various family drama series (formerly shown in 30 minute slots on early Sunday evenings) (4 weeks)
