The tennis starts at 12.00 prompt, so it's extremely unlikely to be finished in time for the 1.00 news.

Now, they *might* be incredibly cruel, but I'm guessing that if the Beeb are bothering to put the Wimbledon Mens Singles final on BBC1 to start with (which they are), then they're not going to suddenly switch it to BBC2 halfway through. So be prepared for what could be your last chance to see the BBC TWO clock in action!

Well I doubt we will see it in the near future after tomorrow even if they are scrapping it. There are no major sporting events which may over run and cause the news to be on Two.

They practically *have*. We're lucky to get these brief revivals as it is. When are the Commonweath Games, or have I missed them? That might be our one hope for another glimpse.
