OK - Just watched BP with my kids - Anyone else see this today?

Gethin - Sat in roller-coaster about to set off, when he turns to (maybe) his producer, and says "OK OK - I seriously don't want to f**king do this"...

Unbleeped.

I sent the kids out, rewound the Sky+ and watched it several more times. This is undoubtedly what he said... If you've recorded it, see for yourself.

Admittedly I'm surprised that no-one else seems to have picked up on this (or any forum) thus far, which kind of puts doubt in my mind - but then I watch it again, and there it is, clear as day.

Point is, BP should be playing it ultra safe at the moment - if this is another "lapse", then top-level rears need booting.

Are you sure they said that? Maybe he said something like ''I don't know if I can do this?'' Say it quickly enough, it sounds similar.

Any chance you could put this up on YouTube? Even with a bleep I doubt they would have - intentionally - broadcast that!

I'll try to get it on this evening, yes... I've rewound it, and rewound it, listening closely each time, seriously hoping that they haven't dropped such a serious clanger as this... Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt... I'm 99.8% sure.

See, a similar thing happened on EastEndeers last week, where I had to do a double take when somebody said ''don't know if I can do this'' but it came out sounding...wrong.

Something similar occurred in the first edition of the recent series of Gameshow Marathon, when Vernon Kay introduced
the footballer Graham Le Saux, and described him as a "footy legend". But since the studio audience were applauding,
whooping and cheering quite loudly (as per usual) it sounded a bit like Vernon said "f***in' legend" instead!

OK OK!! Feeling daft now!!!

Now someone has asked about the possibility of it being "I don't know if I can do it"... Yes - That will be it - THOUGHT and PRAYED it wouldn't have been the other!

Jeez - I'm blushing now... I'll get my coat... Thread unofficially closed...

BUT IT REALLY REALLY SOUNDED LIKE IT!

It's OK, it's an easy mistake to make.

There's bound to be a few complaints to the BBC from other people who thought they heard strong language too.
And I wouldn't be surprised if readers of the self righteous Daily Mail have got their knickers in a twist about it!

You wouldn't be saying that if 7324329352 had made the same mistake Laughing

Which is why it's an easy mistake...

I heard him say the offending word as well, followed by me thinking "Eh?! No, hang on, I must have misheard, no way..." Looks like I did.

Although quite what I was doing watching Blue Peter, if only briefly, is anyone's guess. Bring back Diane Louise Jordan.
