Bob Johnson on Granada North East - ooops sorry I mean Tyne Tees said a couple of days ago there was a 100% chance of snow on Monday.

On tonights ITV weather the woman said it was going to be cold tomorrow with temperatures only reaching 5 degrees Rolling Eyes

Sorry pet but that is not cold - it is more like balmy palm tree weather

Most of the broadcasters are not predicting next weeks weather yet but Met Office data still predicts very heavy snow fall for the North, East and Mids next week.... some local newspapers, such as the M.E.N are starting to pick the story up...

I loved the headline in one of the tabloids today, 'Panic spreads as snow sets in'. *Looks out of window - bugger all panic*

Needless to say, this 'BIG FREEZE' has all been yet another government conspirancy to make us buy canloads of anti-freeze, only to get 3mm of snow which melts after 15 minutes anyway.
Tsk, what a letdown.

We've had snow here for about an hour and a half (noticed out of the window during the interval at the theatre Razz ), although on the drive home it seemed to be alternating with rain.
And no sign of any gritting on major Manchester roads yet.
