Going back to TMI, I get the feeling it's going to be a hit. From what I've seen on Level Up and TOTP Saturday, Sam and Mark should be able to pull this off
The only way it could fail is if there is some strange over formatted format. If it's pretty much a standard saturday morning show it should work
And obviously it's going to win the kids ratings war, considering there's no competition from ITV anymore

I agree there, i am a bit concerned over this adea of them using a flat, sounds wierd, and the idea of using a studio in Leicester Square should be interesting. Will they even have an audience? And as I've said before the name TMI just reminds me of FBi, hopefully it will work out to be a good show. Though is it just me that's thinking that if this show doesn't work and doesn't pull in enough viewers, especially with there being no competition from ITV that the BBC may just drop Saturday Morning programmes and just resort to the system over the past few weeks of just programmes.

I'll have to wait and see what it's like.
Lets give it a chance - and in response to earlier posts, it's aimed at kids primarily because that's what CBBC is for! We'd love teens and adults to enjoy it too, of course.
Everyone making it has grown enjoying Saturday Mornings, and some have worked on some of the shows you all rave about. Why should they want it to be any worse than you guys do?
The first cartoon appears to be written by a chap called Peter Cocks, I wonder if it's the same Peter "German Doctor on Ministry of Mayhem" Cocks?
As for the show, for me it feels like a summer replacement type show after a full on series of L+K. Whilst it's watchable, it really needs to get big bang from somewhere.
Still it's way over my age range to watch this sort of stuff but it does mark the 30th year of Saturday Morning TV as we know and love on the Beeb.
Well the guests are a bit poor, but this has been a problem for Saturday Morning shows for a few years. Chico and Nikki from Big Brother. It'll be the Cheeky Girls next week at this rate
What do people think of this 'behind the scenes at the TMi Flat' idea?
Was it me or did the beginning of the theme remind me of a Girls Aloud tune?
Question Mark reminded me of "Dec Says" and "The Story of My Success" from SMTV as we started to hear the thoughts of Caroline and Sam i was expecting to them to go in a flashback of some kind.
As one old enough to remember the first Going Live and even Saturday Superstore I can honestly say this was one of the best "first shows" the BBC has had to date.
It seemed very polished, fast moving and while still obviously a kids show I got the impression those working on the show had clearly realised the real audience of Saturday Morning TV is students and adults.
I also iked the fact the show had one or two, knowing references to the BBCs past glories for example the bit with the duff glasses and the bin , straight out of the legendary BOTTOMLESS BIN on Going Live.
Its still early days but it was a lot better than the first SMTV thats for sure and while the guest may not have been inspired its worth noting thanks to Dick + Dom the BBC had all but stopped booking guests and ITV seemed limited to CITV presenters.
As the show gains popularity ( and I think it will) the guests will soon follow.
I haven't enjoyed or watched a Saturday morning show near start to finish for quite some time but this really kept me entertained.
I think it been helped greatly by the fact the crew seem to be primarily in their late 20s, precisely the people who grew up with Going Live! which was, is, and probably always will be the greatest programme to have graced the TV at 9am.
