Tiswas Reunited - ITV1

My site TiswasOnline has been approached by ITV1 and a rights-holder of Tiswas to help out on the one-off 90-minute 'Tiswas reunion' special, hosted by Chris Tarrant, in which there will be a look back at Chris' time on the greatest Saturday morning show ever.

The ITV researcher on our forum is keen to know what your favourite moments are, and, provided they can be found in the archives, ITV will show them on the special later this year.

At the moment, Tiswas fans are invited to send their ideas to our forum thread (see our news page for the link), although a minisite is on the way, totally devoted to Tiswas Reunited, with more features - like a competition to win tickets to be in the audience, notes from the ongoing production, etc.

This is what we want!

I can see it now on ITV1. A pre select top 10 list of favourite moments when the viewer pays 25p to vote for their favourite clip.

Naah, the show's all pre-recorded. Plus Cactus TV aren't involved, so don't worry about phone voting!

I've been asked by ITV to develop a minisite, where anyone can vote. For nowt! And far far more moments than a pre-selected top ten list!

Slightly off topic, but regarding the show's archive, I know there's technically not many ATV episodes left, both officially & unofficially, but what's the archive status of the final series produced half by ATV & half by Central?

Quite healthy. Most episodes are intact.

About half our own recordings come from that series. It wasn't a great era for Tiswas, but it still had some good moments. Far better than The Saturday Show which followed.
