It will be another moving day...
And I expect all news bulletins will be extended again quite rightly.
I think that all local radio and national stations will join up to observe the scilence.
MTV and other local radio stations will also observe the scilence, this will be a first for most Uk and Eu Broadcasting will stop.
MTV have cancelled all programmes today and are playing music back to back all day with no adverts or promos. At 11, the station will 'go black' for 3 minutes.
Well, what a moment that was.... Let us hope these autrocities do not ever continue.
{on topic} What happened on television stations then?

Absolutely nothing...all screens went black on about 85-90% of channels. Exeptions seeming to be FTV, Channel Health, Liberty TV (SHAME ON YOU!!), Game Network, Sky's film channels and the Asian ones. In a bizarre twist, even E4 and Film Fours promo trailers stopped. History channel/Biography/Granada Plus/Nat Geographic/Adv One and Sky One/Sports News all carried Sky News Pics. UK TV carried BBC pictures. All other channels had a black screen with poigniant messages, included MTV Networks and EMAP channels. Never have I witnessed such a united front against whoever did this atrocity.
Even though channel hopping, I observed the silence with respect.
