[quote="TVPerson" pid="1172219"the BBC close CBeebies as a full channel, however it moves to BBC4 as a CBBC on Choice-esque block, extended to 7:30pm Sunday-Tuesday and 8pm Wednesday-Saturday, like ABC Kids in Australia

That’ll never work. Parents work to the consistent scheduling of Cbeebies. They’ll be up in arms

I just thought of an idea for kids TV, but as some people are not into fantasies, they are in a spoiler tab.

*snip fantasy ramblings*

And because TV Person has removed his post, I reproduce his contribution below for context of the above three posts which were in reply to it:

ITV3+1 and ITV4+1 close on Freeview to allow extended CITV hours (3am-12am), they go 24/7 hours on Sky, Virgin Media and Freesat

BBC close CBeebies as a full channel, however it moves to BBC4 as a CBBC on Choice-esque block, extended to 7:30pm Sunday-Tuesday and 8pm Wednesday-Saturday, like ABC Kids in Australia

Wednesday-Saturday under the name BBC Kids (not to be confused with the defunct Canadian channel of the same name), the logo has the BBC logo underneath the word “KIDS” in BBC Reith with a yellow fill (like the 2007-2016 CBBC logo)

In the channel’s place, CBBC+1 will launch, a bit off topic, BBC Parliament and BBC Red Button’s last two channels, are the launch of BBC One, Two and Four +1, if Ofcom approves it.

CITV HD and CITV+1 launch on Sky, Freesat and Virgin Media, with a launch on Freeview later in the year

Milkshake finally gets a channel, replacing 5Select +1

Oh.... and bring back all the best parts of classic kids TV (afternoons on BBC1 and ITV, as well as Milkshake on C5 or 5Star if they don’t want the cheesy movies, Friends, the aussie soaps and 5 News at 5 to go, the shows, the elements, the feeling, the fact it was good!)

Make of it what you will.
