I believe the choice of programme has gotten better overall because of the new BBC channels however ITV needs to up its game in new content, while it really should extend the life of Saturday mash up to 30 weeks a year.

Various channels have aired "classic" kids television over the years and after the initial fascination drops off, it rarely rates very good. In fact it may not be a trend just with kids TV, but general archive TV as a whole. Challenge know this all too well.

I do remember when Fun House and Knightmare aired on Challenge around 2012/2013

It's gotten worse over the years. CBBC doesn't use telephones, texts or emails like they used to and instead use Instagram for kids or the CBBC Buzz app. The programmes are a lot worse than they used to and the presentation is bleh. I would love to have a classic block as do the rest of the thread.

Have dipped into some of the new CBBC stuff recently, The new pop group series 'Almost Never' is decent. I really like the use of the YouTube identical twins Max and Harvey Mills with their inevitable chemistry in the review and preview FOMO clips show.

Of course. It goes to show how bad children are with their phones and how we should go back to the old days.

The "old days" aren't coming back.
