Pat's always had a wife. Jess can't talk, but it's alot clearer that a human is doing his voice. The whole series seems to focus more on Pat's son Julian now rather than Pat himself.

Ooops, just realised I've outed myself as a Postman Pat fan Embarassed

I saw an episode of the new Postman Pat earlier, I thought the fact that the character's mouths are now animated made it quite strange.

I've watched a couple of episodes of Postman Pat on BBC2 in the mornings once before I had to go to Business Studies, but I think Postman Pat was more interesting that morning! The best was when the Daily Mail went mad before the new show came on air, as the new version has Asian characters in them!

I'd prefer it if they did show some old ones.
