looking at DigiGuide, this is only happening from Monday 22nd to Sunday 28th December. A very weird move, but fortunately a temporary one.

If only it was. DigiGuide can sometimes be a bit out of date if you look too far ahead. My DigiGuide shows TCTV going up to 29th December, and some other websites are showing it going into January.

I'm not at all happy with ftn devoting 25% of their schedule to shopping. Their email address is enquiries@ftn.tv

It's very odd that Ftn are starting to show Thomas Cook TV, but Ftn's sister channel Bravo too shows it, but they do it honourably by showing during their downtime which is 3.00am until 9.00am. I don't know whether it is to make extra money or to get back at TV Travel Shop as I believe it is no longer owned by Flextech. Though they might have thought that people will be more likely to be watching BBC One or ITV1 over the Christmas period.

Though I would agree in saying that there is no need for Ftn to show two hours of it in Prime Time aswell, the middle of the night you can understand but at 6pm is stupid IMO.

TCTV at 6 is a bad idea - FTN are trying hard to build their audience and having TCTV at peak time will turn viewers away.

I am inclined to agree. Considering that we already have TV Travel Shop (and sometimes Sky Travel) showing holiday offers during the day, do we really need another channel to show two hours of what is bascially the same programming shown on those other channels, to replace what FTN currently shows early in the evening?
