This Morning

Fern Britton's back on the show today.... with Ruth and Eamonn of course.

Given her last appearance where she accused the show of ignoring her for the BAFTA event (and then later apologised) it's good to see the show have forgiven and forgotten.

I still smell a rat about that. Given Fern and Phillip share the same management group, I believe the invitation was 'lost' on purpose.

This continues the trend of Fern not appearing in the This Morning studio when Phil and Holly are presenting. That surely says a lot.

It looks fishy but I don't think they miss each other on purpose all the time.

It's one of those times I wished Eamonn had asked something awkward like Have you and Phil made up since the twitter rift?

There is clearly something deliberate about it. Every single appearance she has made in the studio has been when Phillip is not working.

A shame she wasn't in the day before. Wouldn't have done the Phil situation any favours with him pulling a sickie but would have been interesting if they'd convinced her to co-host with Holly.

I think we'll see her in with Holly and Phil at some point. I have faith.
They had a disagreement but I don't think it was serious.

I think Ruth, Eamonn and Fern always had more of a chemistry than Phil had with her.

After the Bafta debacle, and obviously the argument a few years back, it would be excruciatingly awkward to have her on as a guest when Phil was presenting

Which means they'll probably do it.
