I imagine there was a lot of swearing and hair pulling in the gallery

There were some viewers on Twitter who were shocked the windows were fake which is surprising because they have been very open about it not being a real view

Didn't know there was an eclipse today.

In fact, Ruth said this morning that they didn't know what it was like outside as they were in the studio.

Then the other day Holly through some pasta and Phil said you shouldn't throw it on an LCD screen.

ITV has been shattering the illusion on LinkedIn this week too...

I rather hope they'd be more professional than that.

i doubt a lot of the TM viewers would have Linkedin accounts...

Well I assumed that was obvious.

It looks like they tried to pop the ITV logo on the screens for that event but couldn't get it to work.

I think it's more likely the gallery was set up to be running the GMB set so things didn't display correctly on the other set. We've seen similar effects before when the 2 shows have visited each other's sets.

From the recordings of gallery talkback I've heard in the past I'm not so sure!

That Talking Telephone Numbers clip seems to have vanished unfortunately.

Are the One O'Clock News ones from the 80s still around? I think there's two different ones from different days.

The worst was the one where they opened with Michael Burke interviewing someone down the line because none of the reports were ready.
