They tried this before with a Saturday and Sunday morning show in 2010 and it didn't get the viewers they had hoped.

Not sure why they think it'll work better now. Especially when you can watch all the best bits on YouTube at your own leisure.

Guess it'll use the Holly and Phil titles as it'll probably be mainly Holly and Phil clips.

Wasn't that in an afternoon slot though?

Can't remember. I can remember waking up as a student hearing the title music so it's highly likely Very Happy

John Barrowman is presenting the show with Holly on Monday. I presume it's just for the day as nothing was mentioned by Philip on Thursday.

Whoever said in this thread recently that there was a lack of male replacement presenters they could use, I think you may be right!

Indeed he's presented the show before with Fern nearly 11 years ago as this dodgy YouTube clip proves:

Have Holly and Ruth, or indeed previously Fern and Ruth (that feels more likely) hosted the show together at all previously, or was the last time two women hosted together during the Coleen and Twiggy "era" and they haven't risked it since?

I don't think Holly and Ruth, or Fern and Ruth ever presented together. But Holly did present a couple of shows with Christine Bleakley.

It’s never happened but it would be interesting to see how they’d work together,

Alison Hammond presented with Ruth last year when Eamonn fell ill so it has happened but it’s rare, same with two men presenting the show

In my head I've pretty much written the "Viewers annoyed by loud Barrowman" Twitter-fed articles that are doubtlessly going to appear.

I'm sure Barrowman will be fine, he's done the show and he has experience presenting live television.

As long as he doesn’t bloody sing.
