Here’s the press release

It’s for 10 weeks.

ITV seem to have suddenly taken an interest in Sunday mornings as they’ve also commissioned 2 new cookery shows to be aired either side of This Morning Sunday.

Is it Sunday Side Up & Sunday Scoop?

Sunday Side Up was actually pretty decent. Not amazing but had the potential to be.
Gary Baldy, DeMarkay and watchingtv gave kudos

Isn't this just this morning weekend from 8 years ago?

It really doesn't feel like this is Holly's 10th year on This Morning.

It will by the end of the year. 10 years of Holly & Phil...there's no way they're going to let this anniversary pass quietly.

Do we think it’ll be live or pre-recorded after the usual Friday show?

I imagine they'll make a bigger deal of it in September.

It's likely to be prerecorded.

They introduced the new lineup today, in their own menu style:

So because Studio 3 is available to them on Friday afternoons, This morning will no doubt pre-record the Sunday edition around 3.00pm on Fridays for Sunday transmission. I wonder how it will do ratings wise?

Presumably it's because they've seen the success of Channel 4's Sunday Brunch and fancy a piece of the action. Though putting food and features against a food and features programme seems odd as they're going after an audience that's already catered for. Has it been confirmed that it will be a pre record? Though I suppose a its only for an hour it will be the weeks highlights similar to the old show.

As it's a highlights show - presumably they can knock off a lot of links and stitch the show together in an edit, only having to record any additional content that is Sunday-only. Possibly quicker than recording as-live (and would allow Friday content to be dropped in)
