Rochelle’s last day was on Friday, and Phil will be back in January. Eamonn and Ruth are presenting next week. I think Rochelle settled in seamlessly and worked well with Phil, I could see Rochelle taking over in the future with a new male co-host when Phil and Holly decide to leave (although I don’t think that will be for a while).

Rochelle I imagine will be used for more fill ins.
I think when it comes to long term replacements, there’s more people who could replace Holly than who could replace Phil.

I really didn't like Rochelle from her previous times on the show but actually I didn't mind her and thought she did a superb job.
I think because Phil was still there it makes her feel more relaxed.
Think she is hindered by her slightly more wooden husband when they present together.
Without wanting to go too far down the fantasy presenter stuff, and despite his not-too-great stint on The One Show, I think Jason Manford would be a good shout as a potential Phil replacement, but I agree that there maybe aren’t that many out there.
I think Ben Shephard is the obvious replacement for Phil - Dermot O’Leary could be one for it, Rylan too could take over. You are right there’s much more scope for female replacements though I’d also suggest that Matt Edmondson & Mollie King could be the next ready made duo should both Phil & Holly leave.

I’m surprised to see that Phillip & Rochelle have finished already. With most schools in this week I’d have thought they would have done this week, unless it’s something to do with Phillip returning for Dancing on Ice and This Morning the first week in the New Year.

It happened last year so Eamonn and Ruth do the last Christmas week of This Morning and the first few days in January as well and Holly and Phil return to the show on the first full week of January

They’re not very exciting choices though.
I don't think you need exciting choices for This Morning, anytime they've tried something different like Twiggy and Colleen, it failed miserably.
