Plus the show title now reads This Morning with Eamonn & Ruth, so a step in the right direction for all those concerned they were being hard done by.
I'm sure that's not new - they've been named in the titles for a (possibly short) while now.
Their names have been in the titles previously and on the parts were they go to a break. It's a step in the right direction but I think Eamonn and Ruth should actually feature in them
Ah I'd seen them named in the Summer titles but not the standard ones featuring Phil & Holly.
Either way, these latest Friday titles and use of adapted Summer titles recently is certainly a departure from Phil & Holly Are The Brand.
Makes me wonder if the bosses think Holly and Phil won't be around for much longer? Holly's done well on IAC and I reckon that'll lead to more TV work although whether she wants to do more TV work is debatable as she has said in interviews, she turns a lot of things down. I think if she was to leave any of her commitments, it should be Celebrity Juice as she and to an extent Fearne have outgrown it.

Phil and Holly have both said this year that they'll be on This Morning for as long as they are wanted. It's a steady job for both of them and they love doing it so I don't see them leaving anytime soon. It's the same scenario with Eamonn and Ruth too but they can go off and do other projects and come back to it on Fridays and the term breaks.
There does seem to be a different atmosphere. I can't put my finger on it fully, and it would be wrong to elaborate here and make any detailed suggestions, but my hunch is that Ant's misfortune has rocked the boat somewhat.
There is possibly the question of how long This Morning can afford Phil and Holly. It's fine when everything is going well but a downturn in the advertising market and a need to cut costs could see the question being asked whether the show could be hosted for less.
In reality though at the moment for both of them regardless of what they do in primetime This Morning is their biggest gig. That would obviously change for Holly if I'm a Celeb was a permanent option, and who knows, perhaps going back to my first point their might be some folk at ITV thinking that bringing in Holly's TV partner rather than Dec's might be an option moving forward. Indeed freeing up Ant and Dec for Saturday nights in the autumn could arguably be a wise move by ITV.
I hadn’t thought about that’s Brekkie. Dec & Holly’s partnership has freshened up the programme in a way. Being as friendly as they are I can’t see Holly wanting to step on Ant’s toes even if the bosses wanted her and Dec next year, but taking Phil out could be an interesting move. As they have deals with ITV would it mean that they would drop dancing on ice?
In terms of presenters I must say that Rochelle has surprised me a lot, presenting in a different way to when working with her husband and capturing a similar charm to Holly.

I do think IAC has opened doors for Holly and I imagine ITV do want to find her another primetime gig outside of Dancing on Ice. I do think perhaps she needs to do something different like a documentary or a factual series and perhaps give up certain gigs like Celebrity Juice as I already mentioned.

Dancing on Ice could survive without the two of them although I'm not sure who would be a decent replacement,

She did Surprise Surprise of course.
I'd imagine she wouldn't want to give up Celebrity Juice, always seems to be having fun on it and it's a chance to let her hair down and show her less staid and sensible side
