Wouldn’t be surprised if this pops up as the syndicated item across the regions, despite it having no relevance to any other of them - bar London, I suppose.
It's coming up on Meridian, and I expect they're not the only other region showing it.
The feature on yesterday's Granada Reports was just a few seconds of the presenters talking over some clips, followed by a brief clip of an interview with Richard Madeley.
The full 3 minute report was only shown on other regions such as Meridian.
Seems a bit odd for Granada not to have shown the full report.
Granada Reports have a feature on the 30th in tomorrow's programme.

What a disgrace. On this morning's 30th birthday of all days.
Very unprofessional on both sides.

Thank goodness for Alison Hammond
why are you all talking about Theresa May and Fern Britton when THIS is the most important thing caught on camera today? pic.twitter.com/3cpatbM5W2

Neither Phil or Fern have come out of this well and it’s a shame it happened on the anniversary week
The tribute to Denise was nice to see and Phil Vickery and Holly were visually teary.
It’ll be interesting what the future hold for This Morning, I reckon it’ll still around for the next two milestones even though we’ll probably see different people presenting by then.

Think this answers the question...
...Looks like 'Troika Talent' (her agent?) received the invite and assumed she couldn't make it.
And here is what happened! Thank goodness I was invited, even if I didn’t actually receive the invitation. See you next time @BAFTA xxxx https://t.co/TIRE89k7f1

No-one comes out of this well, and it does sour the anniversary. Did she really need to bring it up on air? Did Phil really need to write in that tone on Twitter? Now it transpires Fern's agency is at fault. It all could have been done off air and no-one would have known.
I do find this particular beef (ahem) hard to fathom - even if we assume something went wrong between Phil and Fern, or between Fern and the programme itself, you've still got her very genuine and heartfelt farewell show, her husband still appearing on the show continually to this day and Fern still engaging with the programme frequently too (although I believe this is the first interaction with Phil since she left - previously it's all been recorded messages and conveniently appearing when other presenters are on).

Assuming you mean damp squib (otherwise I daren't think what you actually meant), you surely can't be referring to the birthday overall? The one and a half hour prime time documentary last night was brilliant, and a lot of today's show was great.
With regards, to the Fern/BAFTA thing, my feeling is her agency knew she wouldn't want to do it and declined on her behalf without her knowledge. Fern didn't realise this and decided to use "I wasn't invited" as her excuse for not attending, and then of course it all unravelled.
Either way, Phil has just retweeted Fern's post explaining everything, without any added interaction so it does nothing to ease the rumours of a rift.
