This Morning

Phil and Holly mentioned on GMB that they already know who Holly's replacement is. I imagine it won't be announce until probably mid October before they take their half term break.

I think Fern is touring with Calendar Girls at the moment so will be able to avoid any awkward reunion with Phillip!

I imagine Fern will appear via prerecorded video, a phone call or given they're travelling around the UK this week, they'll probably stop off where Fern is at the moment and do an interview.

Will they be at Television Centre at all during the birthday celebration or are they on the road all week?

I know what you mean. 20, 21, 25, 30, various anniversaries of the presenters...
They pull it off well though when they go for it.

The show was still based at Television Centre yesterday.

They have a tour bus, which was in Cardiff yesterday, where a section of the programme came from, with a guest presenter (which was Peter Andre yesterday).

The bus is in Glasgow today, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's in Liverpool on Wednesday.

I wonder if they'll have more scenes outside TVC tomorrow?

They've now just introduced a This Morning app to - mentioned at the start of today's show!

The most ridiculously jarring gear change today (even by TM standards): a clip package of very serious interviews into the competition and Lisa Snowdon sat in a kayak.

Looking at the app and they have a gallery of photos from the past 20 years and have come across one of interest...



Interestingly it appears that they painted the outside of their studios on the South Bank well before their current look before their departure in April.

I didn't know it was done before then. Though it does include a pretty terrible drawing of Phil and Fern.
