So they haven't gone for a full six week block of Eamonn and Ruth this summer?

I didn’t think Eamonn and Ruth presented on Fridays in the holidays? They cover Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby’s presenting duties of Monday to Thursday then there is always Friday presenters. I do remember them saying last week that it was 7 weeks without Philip and Holly but they are only presenting 6 weeks Monday to Thursday as Eamonn’s daughter is getting married in the final week and she doesn’t live in London.

For the final week before Philip and Holly return wouldn't it be superb if Richard and Judy presented, especially with the 30th anniversary looming. I know it wouldn't ever happen though, sadly.

Has anything been mentioned yet for the 30th birth celebrations? I presume we won't see a return to the Albert Dock.

There should really be a primetime documentary for the 30th anniversary.

No chance; Judy doesn’t want to appear on tv any longer.

She’s very happy writing her books in Cornwall and enjoying semiretirement.

I think that the difficulty aboit doing a retrospective, particularly one at the Albert Dock is the issue of Fred Talbot.

They dealt with it on a previous anniversary, but I think that was just after the story broke so it had already been planned. On that occasion they replaced Fred with Keith Lemon.

They could airbrush it out so I’m sure they’ll mention it. They’ll perhaps not have as big a celebration as they might have had, however.

Fingers crossed we shall see something special to mark the significant milestone.

If it was a retrospective it would deal with many of the serious issues covered in the series so a reference to Fred wouldn't feel too out of place.

Of course, Holly brazenly mentioned him not so long ago while reading out viewers memories of This Morning, before realising her mistake.

Well they did that last time, so I doubt they’d do it again so soon.

I’m sure with Philip in charge, a big TV geek, they will mark the occasion at great length.

Michael Ball and Sara Cox hosting today’s This Morning.

Seems like we’re going to get a different paring every Friday.

It’s interesting that Rylan hasn’t done Friday’s as he appeared midweek in what I assume was late cover for Eamonn.

Always been a big fan of Sara Cox. She’d be a good fit for This Morning.
