Always seems to be the case.

Returning to Philip's coming out, it seems that it wasn't what it appeared. As many thought the timing of the announcement wasn't his choice, and of course Dan Wooten is involved:

Is this the same Byline as the Byline Times? If so, it's probably worth reading with a sceptical eye at the very least...

You should read everything with a sceptical eye.

It's the investigative site of the Byline Times. Why, do you think they're a particularly bad source. Looking at their stories and background they seem to be fairly reliable and quality journalism, it's certainly not clickbait.

Reading with a sceptical eye I don't really see anything in there that makes me question its validity. It's the usual %#*ts doing their usual dirty tricks that they've done for years.

As a story it does tie in with the goings on between Dan Wooten and the Lorraine programme that we have talked about on here in the past. In the same way that the 'other' story backs up the rumours about the supposed tensions with Ruth Langsford

Clickbait, no. Known for making fundamental errors? Yes.

A lot of investigative journalism does now and then, look at the times Private Eye have got things very wrong. It doesn't mean they're always wrong

As I say it does make a lot of sense and is very believable. Whatever the Byline Time's reputation, its nothing compared with that of The Sun and Rebekah Brooks.

I still find the green straps telling you what the item is unnecessary to be on screen all the time. Was it ever explained why this is?

I would assume so people know what the item is who are just flicking through channels, so they will decide to stay.

I suspect it is more for the benefit of online clips rather than TV viewers.

Ruth Langsford is off sick today. So it’s Rochelle Humes later on with Eammon for This Morning.

Interestingly it seems they updated the ITV logo to the correct version in the meantime. If you look at the video I posted on the last page then the breakdown slide had the old ITV logo on it.

Why is the logo there at all? The real breakdown slide doesn't have one.

Is that a serious question? It’s unlikely that your average Saturday Night Takeaway viewer knows what the ITV breakdown slide looks like. It’s just theatre.

More pressingly/not important at all, shouldn't it have contained a smaller STV logo as per their affiliate agreement?
