One of the best bits of telly in a long time, reminding us why R&J are the real King and Queen of daytime. Him and his fish-pie; she barefooted, massaging her bunions just as we all do on the sofa at home. It's almost as if they couldn't care less and forget they're on live television!

Glorious!

Long may the reign over our Bank Holiday weekends.

Great little segment on This Morning a little earlier with Richard and Judy driving round the backstage areas of the studios to go and see Ant and Dec. During it you could see the Lorraine set along the edges, and one thing I saw which I found interesting was a large black sign with the breakdown slide on "We're sorry for the disruption".
I wonder when something like that would ever be used?

Is there a shortage of storage space at TV Centre now, as it seemed quite risky keeping the sets shoved in the corridor, especially with nutters in golf buggies racing around. He could easily have run into Lorraine’s set.

Interestingly it seems they updated the ITV logo to the correct version in the meantime. If you look at the video I posted on the last page then the breakdown slide had the old ITV logo on it.

Hmm. The one seen backstage has two lines of text. The one in SNT has three.

For Jane McDonald fans: Jane will reveal her new plans for tv work tomorrow when she’s interviewed by Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

That joke doesn't really make sense for someone that's been bringing in excess of 2 million viewers and a BAFTA to Channel 5.

Returning to Philip's coming out, it seems that it wasn't what it appeared. As many thought the timing of the announcement wasn't his choice, and of course Dan Wooten is involved:

That's abhorrent! No one should be blackmailed because of their sexuality. Gutter press
