This mornings edition was an embarrassment. Holly and Phil acting like pathetic school kids. Simply wasn’t even funny. Then trying to act drunk and all the giggling. Guest couldn’t even be interviewed properly bacuse of Holly’s fake laughter. Honestly so sick of the same thing every single year after the NTAs it was slightly funny the first time round but now extremely tedious. BOR. ING.
I did think that Phil very rarely gave the odd mention to Fern recently during cooking segments. Possibly not helped by the fact that he's usually in when Phil and Holly are presenting. Phil always used to accompany Fern during her sporadic studio visits in recent years.
Also can't have been easy to be undergoing all that when her father had just recently died.
Isn't it just them, and the newsreader on GMB who have an extra half hour?
Yeah, the GMB newsreader and Phil & Holly literally do their respective extra half-hours all by themselves. No camera operators, floor manager, sound and lighting technicians, runners (etc etc) - just the "talent" doing literally everything themselves during 6am-6:30am and 10am-10:30am... 😏
Sorry I'm normally the one to point out that distinction! I was talking about just the presenters, I've not seen the article to see who the 'team' are that it was refering to.
