Holly and Phil were asked about the rift yesterday at the Dancing on Ice launch and they both deny it.
They basically say they can't work together so much and not get along and they also highlighted that they hangout outside of the show so they are definitely not sick of each other.
It's a shame he wasn't asked about Ruth. That's far more juicy.
My points previous aside, I like both presenter sets. I live in the US now but thankfully ITV has long learned that geo-blocking this morning's videos only does them a disservice. So I get the "best bits" of each weeks TM on their youtube channel. My US husband and I tend to love Phillip and Holly joking about (bonus points if Gino is involved) and I can't say I've really seen in recent clips any issue between the two.
Honestly I would value TM because there's little like it elsewhere. A more professional TM would probably be GMA or Today and ehh I dunno, I like the more casual feel TM has vs a professional corporate "we're here just to do the job and sell you stuff" vibe. About the closest you get here is local news channels where there's a bit more leeway to muck about somewhat.
Long term colleagues and friends fall out every so often. It happens in life, can be awkward at times, but ultimately such things are often insignificant and you get past them.
Sadly in life there is usually someone waiting to stir the situation too, especially when the likes of Dan Woottan come calling.

I certainly noticed an odd atmosphere around the time the Sunday Times Magazine cover came out. In one cooking item I remember Holly getting a bit giggly and Phillip moving on. It felt a bit awkward.
However, it would be very hard to fake this:
I still sense a slightly different vibe though, even when they're having a giggle-fit.
Today’s tabloid Phil story is hilarious: he’s desperate for a Knighthood for services to broadcasting, according to one newspaper. Sir Phillip Schofield?
It took 70 years for Sir Bruce to get his. I think it may be a year or two before Phil is knighted.
Holly’s awkward reaction was more telling, I feel.

Holly and Phil mentioned Ruth and Eamonn today:
Holly was saying she was missing out on an interview next week and Phil said you can come in but I don't think Eamonn and Ruth would be happy about that and Holly says that's true.
