Hasn’t Dan Wooten recently been axed from appearing on Lorraine?

I remember Kevin O'Sullivan had a serious hissy fit in The Mirror when he was dropped from the newspaper reviews on her show before that section was axed altogether.
I'm not Phil's biggest fan but Dan is pretty and pathetic enough.

Hasn’t Dan Wooten recently been axed from appearing on Lorraine?

No. He left due to other work commitments.

Sure he did Rolling Eyes
bilky asko, Brekkie and Jory gave kudos

" Sure he did Rolling Eyes "

Didn't realise you know him personally and have insider knowledge, Cando. Do tell us exactly what happened.

Holly said on the show herself she'd do another 10 years but she was trying to persuade Phil when she said it so I don't think Phil has thought that far ahead.

More drama...

Phillip wasn't invited to Eamonn's party with every one else... Holly was invited.

Holly is becoming a bigger name in her own right. She was alone on The Jonathan Ross Show tonight.

Holly could easily do another 10 years, I'm so not sure on Phil, Eamonn and Ruth.

I hope Phillip doesn't.

An ITV spokesperson said: 'It’s deeply disappointing and unfair for Phillip to be the target of this sort of malicious gossip.

'Phillip is a much respected broadcaster and colleague and this is absolutely not a description of This Morning that we recognise.

'Holly and Phil are great friends both on and off screen and are popular among viewers and colleagues alike.'

Martin Frizell, Editor of This Morning said: 'I spend hundreds of days a year in their company and what you see is what you get, a genuine friendship from a couple who are both spontaneously funny and professional.

'We have the smartest viewers watching telly and believe me they would be the first to notice any issues - they haven’t because there are none.'

I have to say I noticed when this kicked off before. The chemistry was different, the same as towards the end of Fern's tenure.

Holly has been a pretty big name in her own right for a decade. I think actually she has just been smart in her decisions outside of This Morning, the security of which has given her the freedom to be so.

Phil has been lacking that big hit outside of This Morning since The Cube ended - his other primetime gameshows haven't taken off in the same way and Dancing on Ice hasn't exactly had the most triumphant return - it's just there. If they've truly fallen out and a divorce settlement is needed I think Holly should get This Morning with a new bit on the side (no, not Rylan) and the revised Dancing on Ice format only needs the one presenter and I think Phil would probably carry that better solo than Holly TBH.

No, I'm sure she probably sent the invite to his agent who just opted not to pass it on. He'd believe that, right! Wink

Ruth's 'official complaint' against Philip is apparently in regards to this incident in April:

Of course I'm highly dubious that this is factually correct - given it's the directors fault than Philip's as it's the director who will be shouting in Philip's ear to interrupt and move on.

Ruth didn't look too impressed but I can't see how Philip could be blamed for this incident.

Also the Loose Women director would have been told how long the spot was, so it's their fault if they overran.

All this tension and this morning is about to be extended by 30 minutes. Yikes.

The controller of ITV is having a bad time of it lately. Viewers down. No major performing show. Presenters falling out. Death on a shows watch. Not great at all.
