The square version used in 2002 seems to be missing online too - thought they were far nicer than the circle ones which followed.

And there you go, the version I was starting to think I'd imagined, 5 minutes in.

Dreadful set of titles which sum up the chaos on the show at that time. That fade from the 2000 logo to the Sept 2001 logo at the end is NOT a mock.

(Also the Friday titles from 2000, with added sex offender as Friday still had floating map forecasts)

Did This Morning airs at all in the days after 9/11, which I think was the second week of Twiggy/Colleen but John had already been bought back to co-host with one of them.

It aired 10:35-12:00 on 12th September

On the 13th September it was a 'This Morning: Terror in America' special from 10:35-12:30,
On the 14th September it was on 10:35-10:55 & 11:10-11:50

Thanks - didn't realise the squares stuck around long enough for their to be two versions of the logo. The compilation also includes the hatchet job mentioned earlier using the 2000/2001 footage in the style of the 90s titles and then completely ruined by using the cheap 2001 title end board to finish. They'd have got away with it if they'd just resurrected the 2000 logo.

Also didn't recall the effort they'd put into the 30th anniversary titles with all the footage of the Albert Docks in the background of the titles. Nicely done actually.

I'd forgotten the last Phil & Fern titles featured their names as credits, like it's an American sitcom.

Richard Madeley confirms that he and Judy will “do some more” This Morning in the future. Nothing concrete or fixed, but to be discussed with the “bosses”, who’ve asked them to do more.

Richard confirmed this in an interview with Lorraine Kelly this morning.

Confirms my suspicions that this was a tester for something more long term. I wonder what though.

I can't imagine Phillip being thrilled at the prospect.

I imagine holiday cover for Fridays. I can’t imagine they’d give up 6-7 weeks to present in the summer but 1-2 weeks during half terms and Easter isn’t out of the question.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Richard was paired with Rochelle if Judy isn’t up for it

Most probably. I think the odd Friday fill-in and a Monday bank holiday here and there would probably be all they’d want to do, given Judy’s semi-retired status by her own admission.

In an unrelated question, GMB, This Morning and Loose Women are now all broadcast from the same building, right?

Does each of those shows have its own dedicated Floor Management Team, or will the team on GMB perhaps also stick around and do the same on Loose later?

Just curious how the resources are managed. Or is it a central pool and a monthly roster tells them where they’ll be working for the month?

I guess GMB and This Morning are relatively adjacent on the schedules, so it’s less possible to share resources within the same working day?

I imagine a lot of the studio crew will work on at least two shows from the same studio; you generally see This Morning’s long-standing floor manager Tim also working on Good Morning Britain.
