Wasn't it a grand per correct answer on You Say We Pay, so it would have been £8000.

And then Richard would throw in extra questions willy nilly.

I could see Richard wanting to fill in on holiday Fridays again, not sure about Judy though.

I do wonder if today was a test run for something more permanent. It was so low key in terms of promo.

I think it’s a one off as I can’t see them favouring Richard and Judy over their up and coming talent like Rochelle or even Eamonn and Ruth

I thought this was a brilliant interview by the way.

No one quite matches up to them in terms of this style of programming.

They could use them on the occasions when they use C or D list presenters, such as some Fridays in holidays when neither Eamonn, Ruth or Rochelle are normally on.

I don’t see Judy being up for it, Richard paired with Ruth or Rochelle would be interesting.

I think it's more the case Richard and Judy might be asked to step in on a very odd occasion in future.

I do take the point that this morning is attracting a younger audience. There's no doubt that Holly boosted the show.

I doubt it is more than a one off and Judy has kept out of the limelight in recent years. Richard though reminded us of how good and slick a presenter he can be today, something that gets lost on GMB when the press concentrate on his supposed gaffes or a clearly orchestrated controversy.
Colorman, AMM and MrDexB gave kudos

Or his clumsy 'Alan Partridge' antics, which feels like come from that one person.

The only real clumsy moment was the cringe-worthy interview with the police officer when Richard went full Partridge. But this is where Judy comes in to rescue him and their guest!

Absolute class. Nailed the questions, but in a brilliantly respectful way. You really get the impression that Richard in particular is genuinely interested in asking questions that get a clear response - no attempt at a gotcha moment. Fantastic.

There's something about having a journalistic background which really helps as well. It was a great programme, I think Richard would absolutely be up for it, maybe not so much for Judy. But as everyone has said, they took to it like they'd never been away. Nice touch to properly brand it with their name and film the little bit for the titles.

They're from an era where they just don't care about getting social likes or going viral every day, quite refreshing.

In the 'Best Bits' that they record after the show for Facebook etc., Judy did say that she was worried to start with about being a bit rusty but she actually really loved doing it.

Maybe now she might have realised how much she missed doing it and she might not be opposed to do the one odd Holiday Friday every few months.
