I very much doubt they've got it wrong, so much as they've decided to celebrate it today as it's more convenient. They have the Downton special next week.

Yes - looking back they actually said September rather than specifying the actual date.

The 14th this year is a Saturday also so that makes sense.

Eamonn and Ruth’s titles have changed again where they’re joined together with the Holly and Philip titles so all four feature.

Cue the ‘they’re the brand’ messages.

I'm not sure if it made any difference but when this morning were looking for feedback on the show a few years ago I told them to make Eamonn and Ruth more inclusive in the titles.

I also notice that Phil said this morning would be a Brexit free zone and today when Eamonn came on Brexit was the first thing mentioned.

Back to the original version introduced for the Sunday edition then?

Guess that's not coming back. Even if it rates poorly I'd have thought it quite cheap to produce.
I preferred the internet when it had a sense of humour.

Special titles being used for today’s Downton Abbey special.

I believe they’re using the same music from Princess Eugenie’s wedding last year.

They're broadcasting the whole show live from 'Downton Abbey' next Thursday to promote the movie. I wonder if the Royal Wedding theme tune might get another outing.

Aren't I a clever clogs.
