ITV will soon be joining the BBC in being closed down.

It's Ben & Rochelle again today. Maybe they're the permanent fixture for Summer Fridays and Jenni filled in last week whilst Rochelle was on holiday.

It's a shame they're not trying out new faces like they usually do. They just seem to be pretty fixed on Rochelle that's for sure.

Well they tried out new faces in the past and sensible stuck with the ones they thought would work rather than continuing with random combinations.

I think Ben and Rochelle are a good contrast to Eamonn and Ruth but I do wonder if the random pairings last year lead to too much ratings fluctuation so they're sticking to a safe pairing this year.

I'm not a regular This Morning viewer, but whenever I've watched Rochelle with Philip, I couldn't warm to her, or even years ago with Marvin.

With Ben, she seems alot more natural and at ease. They seem like equals, whereas with anyone else, she was like the sidekick.

Ben is perfect for This Morning. Experience with big interviews, and really good at the lighter stuff as well.

Many people seem to find Holly better without Philip too, and specifically with Ben - and although they say they'll leave together it would be a shame to lose Holly - and you'd think ITV would get their chequebooks out to keep her if Phil quit. Not so sure they'd do the same the other way around.

I find that with Holly, when she's with Phil, she's the giggling sidekick but with anyone else or on her own, she's an equal,

I've said this before but Ben should be first choice to replace either Phil or Eamonn when the time comes. I think if anyone were to leave first, it'd be Eamonn and Ruth rather than Holly and Phil.

Not great news for Phil - everyone works better without him!

It's true, though... I always thought Phil worked better with Fern because they appeared equals. They could do serious stories really well, and had a good laugh, but not like schoolkids. That was always the format. When Holly joined, that all changed.

I agree that I prefer Holly alongside Ben, or even Dermot when he guest-presented.

Well Ben and Dermot have always been interchangeable.

Dermot and Natasha were always my favourite pairing actually.
