I'd say Eamonn is more old school, where as Phil or Ben don't mind involving themselves in what you could say feminine items.
Personally I do think it actually works better for show hosted by a duo (or more) to have occassional features hosted by one host individually, though of course some hosts do not agree. Wasn't one of the reasons Richard and Judy quit was because producers wanted to split them for some segments.
