Nice that they're making the most of the space but they're setting themselves up for a fall when they squeeze into converted office space at the new ITV studios in a few years. Laughing

Well they won't be able to get a car in, but the space they'll have to play with at the new south bank complex will be more than they've got now.

Are they are still intending to be sharing with GMB in the new complex? If so they will have the odd situation of a real view for This Morning facing the Thames and at the other end of the studio a fake view for GMB, to avoid the Daybreak issues...

I'm sure the view of the Thames is a much better view than of Westfield, Wood Lane Station and the Ugli building.

No, there will be three new studios at the complex in five years time. One studio for This Morning, one for Lorraine and Loose Women, and the third will be a new studio for GMB I believe.

No, they're having separate studios.

This Morning will be in Studio 2, which will have floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Thames from the first floor. GMB will be in Studio 1 just behind Studio 2:

The Lorraine/Loose Women studio is in the basement:

Studio 2 looks like it could be an amazing studio, with hopefully a similar view to Studio 7. Really cannot wait to see it on air, that’s if plan’s don’t change.

It amuses me that they're banking on all these programmes still being on air.

This has crossed my mind. I can see Loose Women being cancelled and Lorraine moving on with an extra hour of GMB/GMB Today taking the slot within 5 years.

If any show should be axed then the smart move would be Lorraine, I like Lorraine herself, but the show is near enough exactly the same as This Morning. GMB from 6-9:25am would be better in my opinion.

Maybe they're not and there's a reason they've only planned to build 3 studios.

Even if some of these programmes aren’t on air. There will be other day time formats.

Apart from GMB, all the core daytime shows have been on air for a very long time so I imagine ITV is expecting them to stay on air for at least 5 years. The presenters might change but the show themselves will probably be the same
