It's not obvious from the ITV Hub recording - did they drop the sponsorship bumper coming out of the break before taking the May press conference? On the basis that news can't be sponsored I guess they might have been on dodgy ground, even though it's not a news programme.

They don't air a 'boots' sponsorship bumper after the weather, the weather is seen more as a sponsored item within the programme rather than a break in the programme.

But after the preceding commercial break, whenever it occurred, was there a bumper implying that this part of the programme is sponsored?

The previous break to that would have been around 10:45 and I believe there was a bumper. However they could get around the no sponsors for news by classing the weather as a break with no bumper before Theresa's announcement.

This Morning was on live today. Is that a first for a bank holiday Monday?

I thought it was odd to be on for a bank holiday and to see it live, though Alison & Rylan were brilliant together. When I saw that it was in the schedule I wondered if they were going to do a pre recorded show about the This Morning Live event that recently took place.

Maybe they've realised that as BBC One just shows a normal schedule, ITV might as well do as well. Especially as Columbo usually gets a very low viewing figure compared to Homes under the Hammer.

Very true. Obviously Christmas and Easter are usually different on BBC One also. I suppose it has been worth a try, especially as the rest of the day's output are the same, even Loose Women appears (usually pre recorded).

And I think Good Morning Britain has aired from 6am on all Bank Holidays this year rather than the 7am start.

They've passed the stage where the press would use the bank holiday rating and run stories as if it was a normal day. Of course when there was more money in kids TV, GMTV wouldn't air on bank holidays at all at one time.

Ben Shephard and Amanda Holden are presenting tomorrow. Phillip and Holly, I imagine, will be presenting next Friday before their summer break.
