It's Phillip and Christine this week. Strangely, they've still got the 'with Phillip & Holly' branding.

I reckon Holly will either be with Eamonn or Ben Shepherd next week.

EDIT: As it turns out, Ben will be joining Holly next week, with Rylan & Dan back presenting on the Friday.
Eamonn & Ruth will be presenting on this Friday as usual.

There's an Ideal Home Show-style This Morning event planned for next May.

ITV AND MEDIA 10 TO PRESENT THIS MORNING LIVE AT NEC BIRMINGHAM 18-21 MAY 2017

This Morning Live will be an all new lifestyle exhibition offering guests the ultimate shopping experience, spanning four days at the NEC Birmingham from 18- 21 May 2017.

Featuring live appearances from Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby the exhibition will feature all of the lifestyle elements associated with the award winning show. From fashion and style, food and drink, home, gardening and pets, to beauty, health and wellbeing, This Morning Live promises to bring the much loved ITV Daytime show to life for viewers, offering something unique for every visitor.

Alongside the popular presenting duo, other celebrity guests synonymous with the ITV Daytime programme will also play a pivotal part in bringing the essence of This Morning to their much loved audience.

All focus on Phil & Holly again - no mention of Ruth & Eamonn.

They mentioned this on air last week. It isn't a broadcasted thing, they're there as like a meet the public type thing. As this is the case, could Eamonn and Ruth be actually in London doing This Morning?

I imagine it'll be like Grand Design Live, Kevin McCloud only does certain days so it's possible Holly and Phil will appear on Friday and Saturday but guest presenters will do the Thursday which means it won't affect the presenting schedule

I assume Christine is on with Phil this week because Amanda Holden is on tour with Stepping Out. Holly and Ben work really well together so next week will be good.

Christine and Phillip worked quite well yesterday - I felt Christine looked more comfortable and natural on screen in yesterday's programme than I've ever seen her before. It's always a nice relief to have someone that's less dippy than Holly, meaning the on screen relationship is more equal.

It's the same when Phil presents with Ruth, but oddly I find Holly to be better when she's presenting with Ben or Eamonn, it's not often you have a presenting duo where they work better with a cover presenter.

Probably because unlike Phil and Fern with Phil and Holly Phil has always clearly been the lead presenter - and actually thanks to her longer history with the show Ruth always feels like the superior to Eamonn too - so Holly and Eamonn together some how works better.

Don't forget, Christine is used to that sort of presenting - she used to host The One Show and Daybreak. She's also worked with Phil on Dancing on Ice. It's not that surprising that she was so comfortable.

I've noticed this week that they have used the 'with phillip and holly' tag this week even though Holly's off this week... In the past they've just used the generic logo when one of the presenters are away.

I think Christine probably would be on the shortlist of replacement presenters for Holly when she eventually leaves, she's a solid presenter.

I guess it would depend on what Frank Lampard is doing at the time and where in the world he is.

I remember reading somewhere that Phillip said if she was too go, he would too.

So I very much doubt CB would replace her, as AFAIK she has only ever hosted with Phil or holly, it probably would be very much the end of the programme if that happens.

The show survived Richard and Judy leaving, it would survive Holly and Phillip leaving.

I suspect history would repeat itself - ITV would get two fresh faces in, it would be a disaster and then Eamonn and Ruth would come to the rescue.

One thing I don't understand is that they've gone to all the effort to make it Phil & Holly's show, and yet the YouTube video closers feature only Ruth & Eamonn.
