I can't see them being removed from the summer presenting team so prematurely. I assume that either James or Anita is busy doing something else on Friday and the producers thought it would be good to bring back Rylan & Dan.
They were announced by ITV as hosting throughout the summer, so I can't see them being busy.
Good to see the producers have seen sense! I would expect they will have to return to save face but perhaps they have had their weeks cut down.
It does look as if James & Anita have actually been dropped completely from This Morning Summer; Rylan & Dan are now set to host the remaining Fridays in the series (excluding week 8, where Eamonn & Ruth will present for the entirety of the week).
I'm not sure if James will continue stand-in for Phillip in the future.
Not a big fan of who they pick to be presenters. Unsurprised about James - don't mind him as a TV presenter

I agree. Her interviewing skills are very good as well. I remember seeing her with Sam Delaney on Channel 5 in the early 00's and not thinking that much of her but she's definitely grown through roles on the One Show and Countryfile.
I really would like to see more of Anita Rani on live TV. She's definitely one coming through IMO.

I'm assuming Eamonn and Ruth will be presenting on Friday next week, seeing as today was Anita and James' last show of the summer (as well as the fact next week is only a four-day week anyway!).
