Are Eamonn & Ruth doing the entirety of the summer weeks then?
No, they are only listed for Monday to Thursday but no hosts are listed for Fridays. Wouldn't be surprised at all if it's Rylan and his other half who from what I saw came across as the more professional presenter of the two.
P.S. Has Eamonn now returned to Sunrise?
To be honest, it would make sense if they do Fridays.
I used to really love This Morning, but ever since the September 15 refresh I'm finding it a bit of a chore to watch. In my opinion (IMO Alert) the quality of content has dipped a bit. The daily phone-ins are very dull and the topics are basically rehashed every week under a different name. It's fine if you have an expert in law (lawyers, I believe they're called) or a doctor in to take phone calls because they're actually giving helpful advice. Phil & Holly laughing at viewers' embarrassing stories might make for 5-10 minutes of entertaining TV but it starts to get stale and repetitive after a while.
I just think the show has lost a bit of its charm.
(Who knew I had such strong opinions on This Morning? Maybe if I stopped watching it and did some uni work instead I'd do better in my exams...)

If you hate the phone in, you would hate This morning under Richard and Judy.

I have the complete opposite view, I think the show has improved greatly since the refresh. The daily phone in is usually good. However, music performances are missed a little imo, but such performances are few and far between on all itv daytime shows now.
Also, to me the content of this morning has gone a little more 'newsy' since former GMTV editor Martin Frizell joined, he done this to loose women, which apparently halted the ratings decline. LW has went back to a more lighthearted approach. Back on topic, I believe it's a much better show than it was 2 or 3 years ago.
ITV can pump as much money into TM, tweak the format from time to time, yet those BBC solid performers such as Homes under the Hammer and Bargain Hunt still outperform it.
ITV Daytime have some solid performers in Jeremy Kyle (which occasionally beats BBC1) and Judge Rinder, a much needed format to punch a hole in the solid afternoon schedule on BBC1, yet I see elements of how good the TM format can be with the traditional delivery of Eamonn and Ruth, yet the tabloidness of Phil and Holly is too much. I'm clearly not a target viewer and they have their fans, yet it's not an equal presenting partnership personally and it shows in the pres.

I agree. If ITV aren't going to beat the BBC in the time slot, surely it's better to invest in TM and keep the viewing figures steady, rather than going into decline.
I enjoy watching / having it on in the background when Eamonn and Ruth are presenting, but find I can't really do the same with Phil and Holly a bit like how I can't really stand Chris Evans on Radio 2 in a morning.
I do have a great deal of time for Phil on shows such as Winning Lines and The Cube! (Was in the audience for The Cube once and Phil was probably one of the more down to earth presenters who would chat to the audience etc between actual filming)
The ITV1 continuity announcer appeared to be rather bored of the end of today's This Morning; he talked right over Phillip and Holly at least five times when practising his lines for when the closing titles went up. I'm assuming someone clicked the wrong button...again!
I do like Eamonn and Ruth but I don't think I'd want to see them do it full time. I like Holly too and although I have huge respect for Phil it does feel like he has got somewhat too big for his boots now at the show and it somewhat holds it back, and more critically holds Holly back too. Fern and Phil were always pretty much equals, but Holly doesn't really get to shine IMO unless she's hosting with someone else.
If Holly and Phil were to leave I'd be quite surprised if Eamonn and Ruth were offered the role - they'd most likely be the back up plan for six months later when the new pairing spectacularly flop.
Holly worked really well with Ben Shepherd when he covers Phil and it seems more equal likewise when she presented with Eamonn and Rylan.
ITV do seem to trialling a lot of cover presenters with James Martin, Dan Neal, Rylan, occassionally Ben etc I'm surprised they haven't asked Dermot to cover again although he's likely too busy with The X Factor. They have a lot of options to replace Phil if he ever leaves.
Hopefully, James Martin will no longer be flavour of the month soon. The only thing worse than him on This Morning is his terrible "phone in" radio ad for ASDA.

Yes - not sure what all the fuss is about with him. I don't find him very exciting. He's just another TV cook to me.
