Holly apparently slammed on social media for her interview with a journalist about the Brussels terrorist attacks.

Another story created by reading three tweets, tabloid journalists have it so easy these days.

More like lazy so called journalist goes searching Twitter for negative comments and creates a non-story about them because their employee would never trust them with anything related to the actual story.

You've just described the Metro website in a nutshell.

What do you expect for a publication that's free? Metro makes Wikipedia looks like Encyclopædia Britannica!

For those wanting to experience the effect for very little money themselves, a pair of passive 3D glasses and an LCD screen will do the job. Turn them backwards and rotate until the screen looks black.

It's a non story. But isn't that type of question asked by almost all reporters on TV after a significant event? Everyone knows the answer but reporters feel the need to ask if.

Poor Holly gets nothing but slated in the press.

There was the story about her when she was on the show after the NTAs and presenting, well, let's just say, slightly worse for wear. In my opinion she played a binder and was good to watch.

Then there's the story about her turning up to work tired because she was stuck in Portugal during the French ATC strikes. But credit to her, she got home at 4am, yet still made it to work albeit knackered.

Now there's this story about her asking inappopriate questions. Do these people not watch Kay Burley on Sky News?! For the way the story was breaking, I think Holls did brilliantly and with Phillip taking a more lower role in the proceedings.

Good on you Holly!

I dunno... I was on Digital Spy one day and there were three separate articles all about what Holly thought about something. If she was slated, I don't think they'd care about posting stuff like that. I guess it was my own fault for going on Digital Spy.

That being said, more and more media outlets like DS and Metro are relying on Joe Public's tweets for stories, and it's quite depressing IMO.

Yes. Rosco, a major player in a number of lighting filter systems, have a polarising system and that is the one This Morning use. (They also make ND blinds - which are an alternative solution which actually reduce the real light levels)

Others are available, and have been for decades. Holby City trialled it about 10 years ago (maybe even a bit longer) as they film in a tower block at Elstree with real windows (and no easy way to reduce the light level coming through them quickly) As I mentioned, Pebble Mill used it in the 80s. Think the BBC may have used the Rosco system in the Beijing Olympic studio (it was certainly a polarising system). The one limitation with it is that it works with direct light but if you have something that alters the polarisation of the light by bouncing it off something, it gets brighter (fabric nap, hair etc.) so soft furnishings can look like they are glowing, and presenters can appear VERY backlit.
