This Morning

I quite like the snowflake background used on the monitor.

The opening titles: (tried to do a iPhone to QuickTime recording but, I knew it wasn't going to work)

The Christmas remix sounds excellent. Having just watched the start of the show on the ITV Hub, the music seems out of place with the normal titles and undecorated studio. I'm sure they are just road testing ahead of Monday.

It does seem weird they would launch christmas music and graphics, and not decorate the studio.
Its a shame there aren't more christmas elements in the titles though, not expecting them to film a second set of titles, but couldn't a few bits have been filmed twice, such as the cafe bit with Phil.

They seem to have edited this end board again for going to the break.

They seem to use a mix of all of them depending on the shot.

Eamonn's off from This Morning for the next 10 weeks due to a hip operation so Rylan and Ben Shephard will be sharing presenting duties with Ruth while he's away.

That also means he won't be doing Sunrise on Sky News either.

Trying to work out whether Rylan is a step up or step down from Gok Wan.

Presumably they'll be covering half term and Easter too.

Considering Rylan started as a joke act from X Factor, he's progressed into quite a decent presenter that can ad-lib/have a bit of banter.

Considering even the most successful acts from The X Factor make me want to rip out my eyeballs, the level of ability I have to tolerate Rylan is always a pleasant surprise.

Rylan is surprisingly a good presenter, as proven on BOTS. He's proven himself to be very capable, and of course has a big personality. Hope he does well.
