The logo on the taxi insert is real, not overlaid, but still would have been easy to edit.
It does seem bewildering that they wouldn't shoot a variant with them... unless they know something we don't?
Also, looking at the TM Facebook page there are a LOT of pro-Ruth & Eamonn comments on every posting about the new look, usually from older viewers. I wonder whether there is a strong difference in demographic when they host.
I completely understand not changing the titles for guest presenters, such as a Marvin and Rochelle, however, Eamonn and Ruth are equally important to the show, especially as you expect to see them every week. They have been there longer than Holly (not that it has much validity), present the show every Friday and then Monday - Thursday during school holidays. So why shouldn't they get their own titles? At least remove the Phillip & Holly tag from everything! Very disappointing.
Well no Eamon and Ruth Titles. Although the with Philip and Holly text removed. seems a bit poor considering how regularly they present the show.
Exactly my thinking. Fair enough if they just occasionally filled in but they've been doing Friday editions for longer than Phillip & Holly have been on the programme together.
I think I'd have preferred a longer cut of the bridge opening fading into the white background logo with the longer break sting.
What we got was the idea of Phillip & Holly heading to the studio for the programme, but then deciding not to come on.
The social media side of things have updated to show a shot of the studio and the plain logo.
The opening was better having that chat, menu then into the refugee crisis story IMO.

Very disappointing to see that Eamonn and Ruth haven't been given their own title sequence!
Could the old performance area of the studio now house the autocue operator and social media editors both of which used to be tucked away on the set when it had areas?

I'd say that's true to an extent, my elderly mother only watches TM on Friday outside of the summer.

But not particularly surprising and no different to the situation with Lorraine. They ought to have a generic sequence for when anyone other than Holly & Phil are presenting.

Surprised they haven't got a version for Fridays, even if just a generic set with no host references at all. Hopefully they'll address it sooner rather than later.
I thought it was reported that Ruth and Eamonn were off shooting something for the new series at the same time Philip and Holly were shooting their new titles.
I'm presuming that maybe their version of the titles weren't ready, as the last three versions of the titles had an Eamonn and Ruth version, which includes the last Fern and Phil titles when all four were featured.

I find it very odd that Eamonn and Ruth haven't got their own titles, given that they host the programme every Friday and during school holidays etc. It's bizarre running the Phillip and Holly titles and then seeing Eamonn and Ruth. At least with the previous titles, they had their own photo at the start
Not sure about the 2013 version but didn't the 2009 titles have a version which included the photos of Phil and Holly and Eamonn and Ruth for shows where either a combination of them or none of them hosted?
I guess they're also hoping for Holly not to have another child and take another year off in the near future.
