I stand corrected, when Loose Woman switched to HD there was a little period where it was good upscaled but not quite HD.

Either it's HD or it isn't. You don't get 'not quite HD'. You get bad SD and good SD, just like you get bad HD and good HD (though thankfully bad HD is quite rare)

I suspect Loose Women may have got HD cameras before they went fully HD, so the SD picture quality improved a bit (as HD cameras downscaled to SD often look better than SD native cameras), and thus looked like better SD when upscaled to HD.

The ikegami cameras remained until the complete studio 3 infrastructure was upgraded to hd.

Thank you Mr Cortina, the horse's mouth at last, !!

It's noticeable that at the end of the titles it's

'with Phillip'
(slight pause)
'& Holly'

Wonder if Phillip's agent insisted on slightly higher billing Smile

Or perhaps you're being pedantic?

I think Phillip and Holly share the same agent don't they?

Yes, along with stand-in presenters Amanda Holden and Christine Blakeley as well as Ruth Langsford who are represented by James Grant.

Blimey, the stings are so loud. Nearly fell off the sofa after the break.

That's not in reference to the This Morning situation though, is it? Or have I misunderstood your point?

First time I've seen the hashtag in the new look. A tiny tiny word shown in the bottom right, i hardly could even spot it.

Also, seeing all the graphics on screen at once with the phone in icon, I quite like them! I like the slight rounded edges to the rectangles.

No, I know, but I take him as an authoritative source as to what goes on, and has gone on at LWT/LNN/ TLS etc, than 'reverse engineering' cryptic comments and pictures from social media. Just saying.

I don't really care a jot about this programme, all I know is these titles were bloody amazing:

...whereas the new ones posted look executionally awkward and (perhaps more appropriately) tacky in comparison. Not saying both don't meet their likely briefs, but the above does so spectacularly well, above and beyond what could have been expected.
