This Morning

I can the the underlay for the flooring now on a roll so it's the new one. Don't usually go for permanent flooring on tv shows do they. Normally vinyl flooring.

Phil says leave it like that, he likes the ipen plan look!

Seems ages since a TV show revamped essentially over a (long) weekend. Used to be the norm but nowadays htey seem to decamp for weeks whenever they have a new set.

The Big Breakfast used to get their re-decoration of the living room done within a weekend. The week Johnny Vaughan returned in 2000 saw him ask how long the living room had the new look and Lisa Rodgers explained to him that it was done that weekend.

I hope the rounded rectangle panels around the windows are gone forever.

Looks new to me, the underlay is going down with the flooring going over the top.

Incidentally are the blue/yellow walls part of an old set?

I'm pretty sure the last time those elements of the set were visible, yellow and blue made up much of the colour scheme.

From what I've saw in the picture posted, it looks nice. I hope they stick with the green and blue at the window area. Indeed it seems like a lot is changing, more modern open plan set. Will look forward to see how it all looks on Tuesday.

That wizzy noise is really nice. I hope they keep that in the new theme

It looks so much better with everything removed. Hopefully, they will go a bit more open plan than before.

Glad to see that the brickwork has been removed. Its all less clostrophobic and the studio is bigger than it looks on screen.
