This Morning

It's Christmas at This Morning, and even the theme has had a Christmas treatment.

I loved the christmas theme with the jingles added. Very nice.

It was brilliant, it makes you wonder why they haven't done it before and odd that it premiered without either Holly or Phillip (albeit for 30 minutes without Phillip).

Just watching This Morning for the first time in ages, because of the 24 Hour Philip Schofield Text Santa thing. Goodness doesn't it stick out being in SD? They can't upgrade to producing in HD soon enough...

Presumably as they're planning to demolish and rebuild the studio it's either on the cards or on hold for a bit

When's it being demolished?

One of the plans for the site apparently is to expand the centre by extending out the side of the main building where the This Morning studio is, replacing it with a newer one.

Although one of the other ideas is that the studios will be kept but the tower will be sold as flats and the offices moved elsewhere

It's the fact that Phillip was able to use a mobile camera including the majority of shots when in a car travelling to ITN that looked better than the this morning output.

The Hub has returned...as a dance studio.

They have removed all of the sitting room stuff and back to the last version of The Hub. All a bit scruffy though.

The blue straps that they have across the screen on every item now are starting to annoy me.

Just one question as I dont ever get the chance to watch This Morning.

Is it broadcast in HD?

If not when will it be broadcast in HD?

1) No. Its upscaled and the studio hasn't been upgraded to HD.
2) We don't know (I'm sure someone else will elaborate)
