Amazing how such companies still manage to rip enough people off to be able to afford the sponsor deal!

Quite funny how this is also the same channel that shows the Martin Lewis Money Show, still at least it isn’t Brighthouse...

I don’t understand. Don’t you know how advertising works? Companies pay out to advertise, hoping to make more back in incremental revenue. They don’t just use it as an excuse to spend the money they’ve already made.

Just read on the 'ITV to demolish and rebuild South Bank site' thread that This Morning won't be moving back into its current studio once the new building is complete. Forgive me if I've missed comments regarding this here, but I thought the plan was to return to studio 8?

You seem to have missed this post:

I didn't think This Morning was part of this? It's unaffected by the building works isn't it? (I may be wrong but that was my understanding)

Everything is moving. The Studio 8 building will remain but it will be rendered useless without the offices and gallery to support the production of This Morning.

This Morning will be sharing TC3 with Good Morning Britain. When ITV Daytime returns to the South Bank it will have a new purpose built studio as part of the main complex which overlooks the Thames.

Let's clarify once and for all.

The new This Morning studio (Studio 2) will be located on the first floor, overlooking the Thames. It's distinguishable in the artist's impression by having floor to ceiling blacked out windows.

The new GMB studio (Studio 1) will be located just behind Studio 2.

The new Loose Women/Lorraine studio (Studio 3) will be located in the basement, with the audience entrance located roughly where the footbridge currently connects Studio 8 to TLS.

Thanks for posting that image Thumbs up As I say, I've missed a lot of posts on this subject in the other thread, so the visual plans are completely new to me and much appreciated!

I'm glad the new studio will overlook the Thames. Such a background is key to the programme (especially since 2015).

Davina McCall and Ore Oduba are doing tomorrow's show. Both were good when they covered Holly and Phil respectively,

Davina and Ore were a good pairing although Davina did seem more excitable than normal, she was a lot calmer the last time she was on the show. Ore was fine, I'd like to see him paired with Ruth if he covers again.

Did anyone catch the 30 years worth of best bits shown on today's edition? If someone has the relevant software to record it from ITV Player and upload it, I'd appreciate it.

Didn't see it, but I did catch the words 'audio jungle' on the music they used in their pre-titles Chinese New Year skit! You think they'd be better than taking watermarked music!

It's already been shown before last month on a Ruth and Eamonn edition.

It's on their YouTube here:

Notice how they show the weather map but make sure we don't get a glimpse of Fred Talbot!

It's interesting that in the early years, Phil wore a blazer and a tie but his look now is a lot more casual.
