Flying TV - one of only a couple of broadcast hellcopter operators (Arena Aviation is the other that springs to mind) was run by Mike Smith, and his wife Sarah. Sarah has since taken over the running of the company, after Mike passed away, I believe.

Ben Shephard and Amanda Holden are presenting next Monday (to Thursday, I'd imagine), according to the Sky EPG.

This is odd as, usually, during the October half term, Phillip presents during the first week with a stand-in and then Holly presents during the second week with a stand-in (or vice versa), with Eamonn and Ruth off for both weeks (I'm not sure whether this will be the case this year). If this is the case, I wonder whether Sarah Greene will be making her hinted at return on one of the Fridays?

Philip and Holly alternate their weeks off during this time as they record their own respective new series for the new year schedules. Philip's recorded Mr & Mrs and You're Back in the Room during this time in previous years.

I imagine both Holly and Phillip will need to be off at the same time this time around because they are both hosting Dancing on Ice together in the new year and the preparations and plans for the new series will be under way.

Halloween themed credits today.

Philip spent half the show getting his make up done and the remaining quarter dressed as the Night King, with permission from HBO, presumably on the condition he didn't speak or break character, which meant he could have been anyone dressed up.

Can't help but feel the This Morning team come across too smug when it comes to this sort of thing. From the opening of the show when they congratulated themselves on the themed titles to the end where they read out tweets saying how amazing they all are... it's a little uncomfortable.

Just another normal day then! Very Happy

Kind of wish a major breaking news story had come to light a few minutes before they went to air just to make that all somewhat inappropriate.
